Mission board appoints 15 Texans
___ALPHARETTA, Ga.--Fifteen people with ties to Texas have been appointed to serve with the North American Mission Board.
___bluebull Jerry and Sherry Field, both native Texans, will serve in Jefferson City, Mo., where he will be a church planter strategist. A graduate of Wayland Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Field served as pastor of churches in Fort Worth and San Angelo.
___bluebull Roger and Missy Graves will serve in Ames, Iowa, where he will be an associational missionary and church starter strategist. A native Texan and graduate of Howard Payne University and Southwestern Seminary, Graves has been a youth minister at churches in Floresville and Miles.
___bluebull Robert and Melanie Krumrey, natives of Texas, will serve in Amherst, Mass., where he will be a church planter intern. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and Southwestern Seminary, and served as youth minister at churches in Manchaca and Stillwater, Okla.
___bluebull Timothy Melton will serve in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., as a church planter intern. He was a pastoral intern at Rosen Heights Baptist Church in Fort Worth from 1995 to 1998.
___bluebull Mickey and Suzie Porter, both Texas natives, will serve in Layton, Utah. He will be an associational missionary. He served in Baptist student ministry in Snyder and with the Baptist General Convention of Texas.
___bluebull Dale and Jennifer Smith , both Texas natives, will serve in Louisville, Ky., where he will be a church planter intern. He is a graduate of East Texas Baptist University and Southwestern Seminary and served as pastor of churches in Chandler, Murphy, Huntington and Gilmer.
___bluebull Jack and Linda Coward will serve in Billings, Mont., where he will be a language program director for the Montana Baptist Fellowship. He is a Texas native and graduate of Wayland Baptist University and Southwestern Seminary. He is a former pastor in Ravenna.
___bluebull Ryan and Lori Moore will serve in Vancouver, Wash., where he will be a student worker missionary at Clark College. He is a native of Irving.
