Pastors' Conference begins later. The Pastors' Conference preceding the Southern Baptist Convention will begin this year on Sunday evening rather than Sunday afternoon, President Jerry Sutton announced. The Pastors' Conference will be June 11-12 in Orlando, Fla. "In the past, many pastors could not attend the first session because of responsibilities at their churches," said Sutton, pastor of Two Rivers Baptist Church in Nashville, Tenn. "Starting in the evening will allow those pastors to attend their churches in the morning and make the first session in Orlando."
