___ Pine Forest Church in Vidor will hold a 100th birthday celebration for Vera Parks
BAPTIST CHILDREN'S HOME MINISTRIES dedicated the bronze sculpture "Fisher of Men" at its San Antonio campus. Julian Stewart donated the piece to honor his wife, Nana, and their 40 years of marriage.
Jan. 17. Parks will celebrate her actual birthday Jan. 7. Carl Coggins is pastor.
___ Gulf Coast Association will hold a spiritual awakening conference Feb. 21-23 at First Church in Lake Jackson at 7 p.m. nightly. Speakers will be David Walker and Sammy Tippit, and music will be led by the Griffin Family. Nursery provided.

___ Dagma Wiggins, Nov. 3. She was financial secretary for South Park Church in Beaumont for 25 years.
___ Lesley Sweeney, Dec. 22. He was senior adult minister at South Park Church in Beaumont.
___ Pat Ball, wife of Harry O. Ball, retired director of missions for Hunt Association. She is survived by her husband, one son and two daughters.
