RA Congress honors boys and their leaders
___BELTON--At the state Royal Ambassadors Congress in Belton, April 2, three young men from one Arlington church received the highest award offered to Challengers, and six Texas Baptist RA workers were inducted into the Legion of Honor, the highest achievement possible for adult sponsors.
___Jay Schultz, Zack Tomlinson and Ryan Christopher from Woods Chapel Baptist Church in Arlington received the National Challengers Leadership Award from the North American Mission Board.
___Carl Ansley from Southlake Baptist Church in Waxahachie, Doug Gallion of Town East Baptist Church in Mesquite, Henry Klingemann from Hyde Park Baptist Church of Austin, Alfred Smith of San Antonio's First Baptist Church of Universal City and Henry Card of First Baptist Church in Galveston were inducted into the Legion of Honor. Frank Carnes of First Baptist Church in Galveston was honored posthumously.
___Four churches were recognized as having honor chapters or advanced honor chapters: First Baptist Church of Lancaster, Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving, Primera Iglesia Bautista in Luling and First Baptist Church of Canton.
