How do I share my faith like Christ?

| that he came to seek and save the lost. If our goal is to "be like Christ," then shouldn't we be taking an active part in sharing our faith? How do we do that like Christ did? ___Christ never approached two people in the same way. He knew every person had the same basic need--a relationship with him. However, he personalized every witnessing opportunity. Single adults still have the same need, but it is our responsibility to help them see "their" specific need. Find out some of their basic concerns in life. Discuss with them how Christ meets every need. Tell them in terms they can understand that he is the Savior and the only way to a relationship with God. ___Jesus always controlled the conversation. That does not mean he dominated the conversation. He allowed people to ask questions, to approach him with their need, but he always kept the conversation focused on the eternal. Jesus led people into the path of the gospel. He didn't get sidetracked with miscellaneous questions or comments. He stated his case and gently moved people beyond their presuppositions to see what he was calling them to be. ___Jesus also avoided getting dragged into arguments or debates. He never hesitated to speak the truth, but he did not succumb to religious debates and arguments. As single adults, it is important not to get caught arguing over religion or fighting about someone's rationalization of their behavior. What is important is pointing out their need to admit their sin and calling them to faith in Christ. Focus on the eternal. ___Finally, remember that Jesus encouraged the weak and faint of heart. So often, people are distressed because they've poured their life into work and it has been unfulfilling or they've been unwise in their financial dealings or they've just experienced a broken relationship. Our world offers so many disappointments that it is encouraging to know that Christ came to strengthen the weak and exalt the humble. We have that same privilege. Don't miss out on the opportunity to lift someone's spirit with a kind word. ___Don't neglect the call to see lives changed through your words of hope.
