New life should be celebrated 'Lazarus' tells transplant recipients ___By George Henson ___Staff Writer ___DALLAS--Those who have been transplanted from death into life need to be especially certain to make the most of their new life. ___That was the message of Chaplain Paul Sutton as he portrayed a resurrected Lazarus at the annual Transplant Reunion Service at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. ___Sutton portrayed a Lazarus who was going to make the most of a second chance at life, an obvious reference to the second chance being lived out by many of those in attendance. ___Sutton, as Lazarus, told his audience that death was not something to feared by those who have a saving faith in Jesus Christ. ___"Death is not something to fear. It is just a passageway to another life," Sutton said. ___"If you are going to concerned about something, be concerned about life. I'm not talking about stuff. Money, stocks and other stuff is going to stay in this life. ___"What are you going to take to the next life? Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control," he said. ___"What is important is not what man has on this side of life, but what man has on the other side of life." ___"You should use life and life it well," Sutton said. ___He said life should be about important things like singing, dancing, learning to yo-yo, playing with children, smelling flowers and volunteering time to help others. ___"I'm blessed. Life is beautiful. You've got to learn to drink it up. Celebrate life."
