Baptists respond to 'monster' storms
___A deadly torrent of tornadoes unleashed on Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas last week left at least six Baptist church facilities destroyed, along with thousands of homes and businesses.
___Baptists not only focused on picking up the pieces of their own property but quickly dispatched disaster relief teams to comfort the storms' victims, offer food and shelter and begin clearing debris.
___Disaster relief units from Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas and Tennessee rushed to hard-hit places like Moore, Okla., shown in this Reuters photo, and DeKalb, Texas, where severe damage was done to First Baptist Church, shown below.
