Prestonwood moves into new home
___Prestonwood Baptist Church moved into its new suburban Dallas home May 2, with 13,190 people in morning worship, plus another 1,122 cared for in the children's area. The new church complex--which features a 7,000-seat worship center, classrooms, a three-story children's building complete with computer center, rehearsal rooms, offices and television production facilities--is located at Park and Midway in Plano. The completed part of the relocation includes 406,000 square feet of finished space, with construction still underway on a 54,000-square-foot sports and fitness center. The worship center features two high-magnification screens, a 400-seat choir loft and orchestra platform to accommodate 75 musicians. Prestonwood has more than 15,000 members. Jack Graham is pastor.
