___NEW ORLEANS (RNS) --Amid falling teen pregnancy rates, a national advocacy group is telling religious organizations to stick with their message on teen sexuality, whether it's condoms or abstinence--because against all expectati ons, teens seem to be listening.
___Parents and pastors may feel overwhelmed by the celebration of early or casual sex in youth-oriented music, television and movies, noted Bill Albert of the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy.

Fellowship seeks 'community'

___BIRMINGHAM (ABP)--In 1990, unsuccessful Southern Baptist Convention presidential candidate Daniel Vestal called for a consultation of concerned Baptists to discuss options in light of moderates' increasing disenfranchisement in the SBC.
___Nine years later, Vestal, now coordinator of the Atlanta-based Fellowship, addressed a similar-sized crowd in Birmingham, Ala. The mood, however, has changed.
___Vestal called on participants in the Fellowship's June 24-26 general assembly to "nurture community" in the coming year, following a focus on spirituality that guided Fellowship planning the past year.

___But how would you feel about starting churches there? Guy and Elena Key, both children of missionaries who grew up in Brazil, are undertaking that difficult assignment.
___It's difficult because the people who live in these areas are mostly wealthy business and professional people.
