Project Macedonia builds 14 houses
___Project Macedonia, a ministry of Del Rio-Uvalde Baptist Association, has built 14 houses for poor residents of Acuna, Mexico, over the last 10 months.
___At right, volunteers from Southland Baptist Church in San Angelo cut lumber for a house they recently erected in less than a week.
___Participating churches provided $3,100 for materials, including $500 for a concrete slab poured by Mexican workers. The church groups arrive with their own tools and food and provide their own lodging.
___The completed houses are 16-by-20-feet and include three rooms and a loft.
