Texas Baptist Men collecting coats for kids

___Texas Baptist Men volunteers are spearheading a Christmas drive to provide 10,000 coats for children in the former Yugoslavia.
___At the recent Texas Baptist Men convention in Corpus Christi, the mission organization's executive board voted to participate in the "Koats for Kids" project.
___The coats will be distributed in early January to children and youth throughout Serbia by Bread of Life, a Christian ministry in the region.
___Southern Baptist international missionaries work closely with Bread of Life in humanitarian efforts.
___By purchasing in large quantities, Texas Baptist Men will be able to buy each coat for less than $5, according to Jim Furgerson, executive director-treasurer.
___Individuals wishing to contribute to the effort should designate checks "Koats for Kids," make them payable either to "Texas Baptist Men" or "Baptist Executive Board," and send them to 333 N. Washington, Dallas 75246-1798.
___For those who prefer to buy coats themselves and have them shipped to Belgrade, the collection point is the Robert E. Dixon Mission Equipping Center at 5351 Catron in east Dallas, behind the Buckner Children and Family Services campus.
