___Deaths ___ Elizabeth Pool, 91, Nov. 13 in San Angelo. She was appointed as a missionary to Nigeria in 1934 by the Southern Baptist Convention Foreign Mission Board, and in 1935 was married to J.C. Pool, principal of the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary. The Pools served 37 years in Nigeria, and for one year in Liberia shortly before their retirement in 1972. She also was the author of three books. In 1974, she received the distinguished alumnus award from San Marcos Baptist Academy and received a similar award from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 1990. She was a member of First Baptist Church in San Angelo. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn; son, James; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Wendell Arnett. ___ Ida Mae Baker, 92, Aug. 25 in Frankfort, Ky. She was a former resident of Fort Worth and member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church.
