LOTTIE MOON FOCUS
Missionary journeyman Marianna Hensley spent two years living among West Africa's Susu people. Although she didn't always speak about Jesus, they knew she was a Christian--and they watched her daily life closely.
She answered questions about her faith when asked, but did not push, knowing it was her love of God manifested by her living among the Susu that spoke loudest. She left knowing that the Susu are looking for God in their lives.
The week of prayer for international missions and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for international missions support missionaries like her who serve through the Southern Baptist Convention's International Mission Board. (IMB photo by Sandy King) |
