___ James Morgan, 85, Nov. 25 in Bedford. Morgan was a retired pastor and evangelist. Morgan was the pastor of several Tarrant County churches beginning in 1937--First Church of Handley and North Fort Worth Church in Fort Worth; First Church in Hurst; and First Church in Colleyville. Since 1972, he had a radio ministry, "New Life for

THE WOMEN of the BYKOTA Sunday School class of First Church in Sour Lake live up to their class's motto--Be Ye Kind One To Another. The class operates a church- and community-wide prayer chain, are generous with cards and phone calls, work at the Caring Christians Sharing community mission, assist in Vacation Bible School, visit nursing homes, provide baskets for shut-ins and food for the sick or bereaved. You." In addition, he served on many boards of the Baptist General Convention of Texas including those of Decatur Baptist College and Dallas Baptist University. Morgan also served on the Southern Baptist Convention Foreign Mission Board. From 1952 until 1954, he was the youngest person to serve as president of the BGCT. He also preached around the world in locales as varied as London, Israel, Cuba, Columbia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru, Japan and Formosa. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; son, James; daughters, Jean Ann Hasty, Jan Janszen and Judy Johnson; sister, Virginia Gaustad; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
___ Mary Lou Williams, 83, Nov. 27 in McKinney. Williams taught the Golden Heirs Sunday School class at First Church in McKinney. For many years, she was a motivational speaker for the Mission Service Corps. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren. She is survived by her daughter, Karion Krieger; son, Bob Thompson; brothers, James Brooks, Johnny Gann and Charles Brooks; sister, Nora Callaway, and three grandchildren.
___ Vickey White, 52, Nov. 28 in Longview. She was the wife of Ted White, pastor of Little Flock Church in Longview. An elementary school teacher, she had taught in Farmersville, McKinney and Winfield. She was preceded in death by an infant son. She is survived by her husband; daughter, Holly; son, Brian; brothers, Weldon and Glen Pettit; sisters, Sue Nichols and Myra Price; and a grandson.

___ Birdville Church in Fort Worth will present its Living Christmas Tree at 7 p.m. Dec. 9-11. The 60-voice choir will sing a mixture of traditional and modern Christmas music and be accompanied by the church's orchestra.
