Buckner seeks homes for Russian orphans
___DALLAS--Buckner International Adoption Services is offering a free orientation in North Texas to families interested in becoming parents to Russian and Romanian orphans.
___The orientation is scheduled for Jan. 27 at Broadway Baptist Church at 305 Broadway in Fort Worth from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
___Debbie Wynne, director of international adoptions for Buckner, said the no-cost informational meetings "will cover the international adoption process from start to finish, including United States Immigration and Naturalization Service procedures, home study procedures, available children and financial costs."

___Some of the Russian children currently available for adoption include:
___ Sister and brother Natasha, 8, and Pasha, 10, who are very close and both enjoy singing. They live together at an orphanage in St. Petersburg. They need a loving family to call their own.
___ Elena, 10, a sweet little girl who needs a special family. She lives in a St. Petersburg orphanage.
___ Konstantin, 1, and Evgeniy, 3. These brothers are in need of a loving family. Konstantin appears to be in good health. He enjoys playing with toys and he has minor developmental delay. Evgeniy is active and cheerful, makes contact easily with children and adults and has minor developmental delays.
___ Anatoliy (Tolya), 2, and Gennadiy (Gena), 4, brothers waiting for an adoptive family to care for them. Tolya dresses himself, likes to play, has some attention difficulties and some minor developmental delays. Gena likes to play with other children, is gentle with toys and caregivers, is a good listener and pays attention to what is said to him. He has had several respiratory infections and is in generally good health. He has minor developmental delays.
___ Anton, 8, a friendly boy who gets along well with other children. Anton is a very talented artist and loves to draw pictures. He lives in an orphanage in St. Petersburg and would like to have a loving family.
___ Dennis, an 8-year-old boy who is very outgoing and loves to play. He lives in a country orphanage outside St. Petersburg.
___ Pasha, 12, who is very intelligent and makes good grades in school. He also is very athletic and loves soccer.
___ Sveta, an outgoing 7-year-old girl in generally good health who would love to have a family.
___ Alexei, 7, Christina, 8, and their sister, Dazya, 3, siblings in need of a loving home where they can grow up together. Christina and Alexei live in an orphanage in Suzdal. Dazya lives in an orphanage in Vladimir. They have some developmental delays.
___ Andzei, a sweet 10-month-old baby who has some minor developmental delays.
