Baylor center offers ministers' retreats
___WACO--A statewide church staff retreat and a similar conference for staff of Hispanic churches will be offered soon by Baylor University's Center for Ministry Effectiveness.

___ Albert Reyes, new president of the school, will present the keynote address, "Ministry Effectiveness in the Hispanic Context."
___The conference also will feature special-interest seminars on overcoming stresses of women in ministry, mobilizing laypeople through ministry teams and developing a healthy church.
___"The goal of each of these conferences is to provide encouragement for staff members and their spouses and to help avoid problems that often lead to burnout," explained Winfred Moore, the center's director.
