'All are called to missions'
___ABILENE--Christians must place a priority on what God called them to do, not how they earn a living, a Texan

who ministered in China believes.
___"Christians are all called to missions. It's so important that we can't leave it to the professionals," said the man who with his wife spent a year teaching and ministering in the People's Republic of China.
___The couple described their experience as "tentmaking" missionaries--who got secular jobs in China that enabled them to share the gospel with students.
___He earned both law and master of business degrees, but left his practice in the U.S. to teach at a university in China. A former court reporter, she taught English as a second language. In the evenings, they taught Bible studies in their apartment.
___"Our vocation is to spread the gospel," said the missions volunteer, who is teaching at HSU. "Our para-vocation is how we put food on the table and clothe ourselves so we may do our vocation."
