More than 40 workshops will be offered in the areas of clowning, drama, music, puppetry and other creative ministry avenues. FIRST CHURCH IN MAGNOLIA recently broke ground on a 24,000-square-foot facility that represents the first phase of a building expansion program. The building will serve as a combination worship center and fellowship hall as well as provide expansion space for senior adults and preschoolers. The $4 million project includes property recently acquired to provide a total campus of approximately 22 acres. The congregation has been meeting in three worship services and two hours of Bible study for more than two years to address current space needs._

___bluebull Webb Church in Arlington will have a special weekend of services March 18-19 featuring BGCT Executive Director Charles Wade as the speaker at an 8 a.m. Saturday men's prayer breakfast and as the preacher in the Sunday morning service. A 6 p.m. Lord's Supper service also will be held Saturday. Shiloh, a Southern gospel singing group, also will participate in the Sunday morning service. A catered barbeque luncheon will be held after the service. Police Chaplain Harold Elliott will sing and speak at a special afternoon service following the meal. Wade Ogle is pastor.

___Deaths
___bluebull Virginia Presley, 82, Feb. 3 in Dallas. A member of Park Cities Church in Dallas for 50 years, she taught children, youth and adult Sunday School classes. She is survived by her husband, Dewey; three daughters, Charlotte Taylor, Suzanne Griffin and Rachel Anderson; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
___bluebull William Clements, 101, Feb. 17. He was a pastor for many years, retiring in 1973 from First Church in Flatonia. He was interim pastor at First Church in Hochheim for 14 years. He is survived by his wife, Iola; and two daughters, Lee Meyer and Betty Scull.
___bluebull Dub Ruchti, 79, March 5 in Rome, Ga. An emeritus Southern Baptist missionary to Italy, he served as pastor of San Gabriel Church in San Gabriel and as youth minister of First Church in Port Arthur during his college years. He is survived by his wife, Helen, and daughter, Peggy Plummer.
