University Church in Fort Worth will provide noonday concerts April 17-20 at the amphitheater at the Tandy Center downtown in observance of Holy Week. The church hopes the concert will be a respite for those working on the cleanup of the buildings recently damaged by a tornado. Music groups will come from various churches in the

Lakeland Church in Lewisville is sponsoring a series of luncheon speakers April 17-21 that will focus on the events of Holy Week. The luncheon series is titled "Eight Days That Changed the World," and will feature Jeff Williams of First Church in Denton, Rick Spleth of Creekwood Christian Church in Flower Mound, Dan Lancaster of HighLand Fellowship in Lewisville; Donny Forson of His Rain Ministries in Lake Dallas and Tim Stevenson of Crossroad Bible Church in Bartonville. Each service will begin at 11:45 a.m. and go until 1:15 p.m. Lunch is $3, and a reservation is required. To make lunch

Salvador Treviño has celebrated his 15th anniversary as pastor of Primera Iglesia Mexicana in Brownwood.
___Deaths

Coy Lee Pierson, 88, March 31 in Stephenville. An emeritus Southern Baptist missionary, she and her husband, Abel, were appointed by the Foreign Mission Board as missionaries to Mexico in 1944. They founded and directed a Baptist residence home for students attending state and federal schools in Chihuahua City. In 1958, they transferred to serve at the Mexican Baptist Theological Seminary in Torreon. In 1962, she became associate director of Woman's Missionary Union literature at the Baptist Spanish Publishing House in El Paso. The Piersons retired in 1974. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Dexter. She is survived by her daugher, Joy Campbell.

Orene Moseley, 97, April 1 in Tyler. She was the mother of retired pastor Kelly Moseley; Iva Nell Knight, wife of Walker Knight, former associate editor of the Baptist Standard; and Jack Moseley. She was a member of Dixie Church in Tyler for 59 years and a great-great-greatgrandmother.
