NEW OFFICERS of the Texas Association of Southern Baptist Secretaries are Sandra Jones, San Jacinto Baptist Association, Baytown, president; Brenda Perry, Baptist General Convention of Texas, Dallas, program vice president; Dede Boyd, First Baptist Church of South Houston, publicity vice president; and Dorris Gilliam, Tryon-Evergreen Baptist Association, Conroe, secretary-treasurer. The association recently held its annual conference in Houston, with 298 in attendance. In addition to choosing from 37 training seminars, participants heard messages from Charles Wade, BGCT executive director, and Bob Campbell, pastor of Westbury Baptist Church in Houston.
