WMU sets leadership training
___ "Beyond Belief" will be the theme of the Texas Leadership Conference for Woman's Missionary Union of Texas, July 27-29 at Baylor University in Waco.
___ A gathering for the Missionary Parents Network, training sessions offered in seven languages, a variety of special-interest seminars and a reception honoring retiring WMU Executive Director-Treasurer Joy Fenner will highlight the 47th annual "Texas WMU House Party." Missions speakers include Matt Humphries from Macao; Mark and Susie Edworthy from Poland; Tom and Beth Ogburn with "World A" unreached people; and Betty Lynn Cadle from Minnesota-Wisconsin.
___ Ann Davis, former dean of the Carver School of Church Social Work at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and current director of operations for the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children in Waco, will be the Bible study leader.
___ Janet Hoffman, president of national Woman's Missionary Union, also will speak.
