Black churches honored for giving to BGCT ___CORPUS CHRISTI--Five African-American churches have been honored for their exemplary contributions through the Baptist General Convention of Texas Cooperative Program. ___The presentations were made during the annual meeting of the Black/ African American Baptist Fellowship of Texas July 13-14 in Corpus Christi. ___Churches honored by the Cooperative Program promotion department of the BGCT, their pastors and giving totals are: ___ Resident membership 1 to 50--Guiding Light Baptist Church of Dallas, Billy Ray Blune, $3,228. ___ Resident membership 501-100--Together We Stand Baptist Church of Missouri City, Allen Rice, $7,366. ___ Resident membership 101-150--New Life Community Fellowship Baptist Church of Carrollton, Willie Jacobs Jr., $4,872. ___ Resident membership 151-250--Holiday Hills Baptist Church of Abilene, Durward Minor, $3,094. ___ Resident membership 251 or more--Westside Baptist Church of Lewisville, Kenneth Blake, $51,031.
