Corrected messenger cards mailed to churches
___Churches should receive corrected messenger cards this week for the Baptist General Convention of Texas annual session, replacing the incorrect cards that were mailed several days earlier.
___The corrected messenger cards are yellow to distinguish them from the misprinted white cards, which should be destroyed. Many of the earlier cards had incomplete or incorrect information about the number of messengers a church is eligible to send to the BGCT.
___"We regret any inconvenience this may cause churches," said Charles Wade, BGCT executive director. "We encourage each church to elect the full number of messengers to which it is entitled and to participate in the democratic decision-making process that we enjoy in the Texas Baptist family."
