___ Vietnamese Faith Church in Dallas will dedicate its new worship building and fellowship hall Nov. 17 at 4 p.m. This facility is the first church in Dallas built by a Vietnamese congregation. Thomas Stebbins of Evangelism Explosion will speak. Hue Van Nguyen is pastor.

Church in Dayton will dedicate its new 1,200-seat worship center Dec. 2. A noon luncheon will be followed by a dedication service at 1:30 p.m. Danny Biddy is pastor.
___ Jaci Velasquez will be in concert Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall. She will sing Christmas songs, both holiday classics and new songs. Advance tickets are $17.50 and $22.50, groups of 15 or more $14.50. Tickets will be $19.50 at the door.

___ Horace Hitt, 76, July 30 in Eastland. Hitt was pastor of churches in Eastland, Tell, Andrews and several Eastland County churches, in addition to churches in New Mexico and Utah. He is survived by his wife, Frances; sons, Bobby, Stanley and Bill; daughters, Sheila, Debbie, Carla and Shala; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Don; and sister Louise Sexton.
