___ Pickle picked for CBF position. George Pickle has been named associate coordinator for chaplaincy and pastoral counseling endorsement at the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. He served nine years as a liaison between the Southern Baptist Convention and the healthcare chaplains and pastoral counselors endorsed by the SBC's North American Mission Board. Pickle is a former campus minister and hospital chaplain.
___ Bring a torch. Debbie Wohler, a North American Mission Board resort missionary in California, is one of the participants in the torch relay for the 2002 Winter Olympics. Wohler has worked in Lake Tahoe since 1979 and has served in a variety of ministry capacities at six Olympic games. She is expected to participate in the torch relay Jan. 20 or 21.
