North American Mission Board taps seven with Texas ties
___ALPHARETTA, Ga.--The Southern Baptist Convention's North American Mission Board recently appointed seven missionaries with ties to Texas.

Morgans
___Timothy Maxwell serves as a port ministries missionary in Freeport. He was appointed under the US/C-2 program, which allows young adults to complete two years of missions service in the United States and Canada. Maxwell served two summers on a traveling missions team for the Tennessee Baptist Convention. He also has been involved in photography, communications and audiovisual production with church and student ministry groups.
___Cassondra Darling, also appointed under the US/C-2 program, serves as a Baptist Center missionary in Brenham. She previously has served as a summer missionary in Oklahoma and Arizona.
___Ralph and Cheryl Green are missionaries in Lisbon, N.H., where he is a church planter intern and pastor. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Edinburg. She is a Texas native and holds a nursing degree from Dallas Baptist University. They have five children--Rachel, Virginia, Bethany, Ralph and Garrett.
___Eric Hunter serves in Boston, Mass., where he is a collegiate evangelism missionary. He also was appointed through the US/C-2 program. Hunter, a native of Amarillo, is a graduate of West Texas A&M University in Canyon. He previously has been a missions leader for Do Missions in Amarillo and a youth intern at Paramount Baptist Church there. He also was involved in Baptist Campus Ministries leadership at West Texas A&M.
___Daniel and Melanie Morgan serve in Fort Worth, where he is Nehemiah Project professor and director of church planting at Southwestern Seminary. He has been a church planter strategist with Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, Calif., since 1998. He previously was a church planter strategist in Oregon; pastor of administration for Hope Church in Fort Worth; and a programmer/manager with Tandy Corp. in Fort Worth. The Morgans have four children--Drew, Dana, David and Daniel.
