___bluebull Central Seminary plans ministry conference. Daniel Vestal, national coordinator for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, will be the keynote speaker for Central Baptist Theological Seminary's annual Conference for Ministry, March 2-3 in Kansas City, Kan. The conference is designed for prospective students. Cost is $30 for individuals and $45 for couples, and it includes housing and meals. ___bluebull Annie gains in 2000. Receipts for the Southern Baptist Convention's Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American missions jumped 11 percent last year to $48.4 million, the largest increase since 1982. Statistics released earlier this month by the Baptist General Convention of Texas showed an increase of 3.8 percent for the Annie Armstrong Offering in Texas. The year's national total surpassed the $47 million goal by $1.4 million, marking only the third time the goal has been exceeded in the past 20 years. The goal for 2001 is $50 million.
