___ Senior adult event offered in Branson. The North American Mission Board is inviting senior adults to its first evangelism conference specifically designed for individuals age 60 and older. The "GO Hand 'n Hand" conference--named for a new strategy designed to help senior adults spearhead evangelism efforts--will be held April 30-May 2 at the Mel Tillis Theater and First Baptist Church in Branson, Mo. The Rural Chaco team of International Mission Board missionaries in Northern Argentina urgently needs a single man or a married couple to work for two years as a church starter intern. "God has greatly blessed us in recent months by opening doors to train Criollo leaders and to plant new churches in places where Criollos live that have little or no evangelical witness," said team leader Randy Jackson. "The work is rapidly moving beyond what our team of missionaries and Argentine partners can cover." Ideally, the person or couple should be conversant in Spanish. ___ Studio opens in SBC Building. Officials from the Southern Baptist Convention's Executive Committee and Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission cut the ribbon for a sound production studio in the SBC Building in Nashville Feb. 20. The studio will be home of the commission's "For Faith & Family" radio program. The studio was funded by the SBC Cooperative Program budget, said Richard Land, president of the commission.
___ SBC DayCamp registration open. Children attending the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting with their parents June 12-13 can experience missions through SBC DayCamp 2001. Registration is open to the first 200 participants at $75 per child before May 1, and $85 per child from May 1 through June 1.
