Buckner helps young adults hit the TRAIL toward success

___Many former Buckner residents or foster children, once removed from the structured environment of care, often are ill-equipped to handle situations faced in adult life and have no support system on which to fall back.
___But Buckner officials believe they may have found the answer through an innovative pilot program—TRAIL, short for Transitioning to Responsible Adult Independent Living— that helps young adults who have left the care of Texas Child Protective Services and are struggling to make it on their own.

Crime victims find love in arms of Texas Baptists

Faith statement not creedal, Hemphill says

___FORT WORTH--The revised Baptist Faith & Message is not being forced on anyone, and requiring faculty at Southern Baptist Convention seminaries to sign it should not alarm anyone, according to Ken Hemphill, president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.
