Texas CBF taps Kents to lead ___FORT WORTH--The Texas affiliate of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship has named a Fort Worth couple its first coordinators. ___Barbara and Dan Kent began their new assignment March 1. ___Both are retired from the faculty and staff of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. He was professor of Old Testament, and she was director of housing. ___He also is a former Texas pastor and currently serves as chair of the national board of Christians for Biblical Equality and as vice president of the Southern Baptist Historical Society. He also teaches adjunctively at Baylor University's Truett Seminary. ___The couple's primary responsibilities as coordinators will be to increase the number of churches that are giving and participating in the national CBF movement and to unite Texas CBF churches to do missions and ministries. ___They were selected by a search committee of Texas CBF members.
