Holy Week
___McKinney Street Baptist Church in Denton dramatized the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ April 7-8 in a presentation called ''Living Pictures.'' Actors from the church posed motionless for nearly three minutes in a series of eight still-life portraits. The scenes were intertwined with narration and 11 songs by the church choir. At the Lord's Supper (above), Mike Sears portrays Jesus. He is flanked on the left by Billy Curtsinger (standing) as Simon Peter and Tracy Spence as John, the brother of James. On the right, he is flanked by Alan Bennett (standing) as Thomas and Lawrence Miller as James. At the crucifixion, Jesus is portrayed by Larry Vick. The thieves on the cross beside him are portrayed by Tracy Spence and Justin Hammong. The Roman centurion standing behind Jesus (right) is portrayed by Mark Miller.
