___bluebull Frost to NAMB. Gary Frost, a former Southern Baptist Convention vice president and pastor of Rising Star Baptist Church in Youngstown, Ohio, was elected unanimously by North American Mission Board trustees May 9 to serve as vice president for the agency's strategic partnerships group. His responsibilities will include the Strategic Focus Cities effort, as well as coordinating associational strategy and work with state conventions. He succeeds Phil Roberts, who has become president of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
___bluebull Medders to Campbellsville. Alan Medders, president and chief executive officer for the Woman's Missionary Union Foundation in Birmingham, Ala., has been named vice president for development at Campbellsville University in Kentucky.
___bluebull Stone to be nominated. Ted Stone, a longtime crusader against alcohol and drug abuse, will be nominated for first vice president of the Southern Baptist Convention during the June 12-13 annual meeting in New Orleans. Stone, of Durham, N.C., will be nominated by Dallas attorney Ralph Pulley. Both men are trustees of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
