Texas WMU names McCammon & Row
___Texas Woman's Missionary Union has filled two staff vacancies this summer.
___Debra McCammon of Mesquite is now WMU consultant, and Emily Row of Midland is youth consultant.
___McCammon, who served the last two years as administrative assistant for the Texas Baptist Laity Institute, will work with local church and associational WMU, particularly in the area of leadership development.
___She has held a variety of leadership positions in church, associational and state WMU, including 12 years as a Girls in Action camp director and more than 10 years as a conference leader. She has served on the WMU leadership team in five associations.
___She was president of the Texas Baptist Ministers' Wives fellowship in 1994-95. Her husband, Joe, is pastor of Wildwood Baptist Church in Mesquite.
___She earned a bachelor of arts degree in religious education at Howard Payne University and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
___Row, a former state and national Acteens panelist, has served as a Acteen Activator and as a conference leader at IMPACT, Cargo and other training events.
___She has worked as university associate at First Baptist Church of Abilene and as a graduate assistant at Hardin-Simmons University.
___Row is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University with a bachelor of arts degree in Bible. She is completing the master of arts in religion degree at Hardin-Simmons' Logsdon School of Theology.
