___AMARILLO--The people at Buchanan Street Baptist Chapel understand what it means to be "the presence of Christ" in their inner-city setting. It's all about loving people where they are.
___"When I was in seminary, I had an evangelism professor who gave us the definition of love," Pastor Larry Mills recalled. "He said, 'Love is meeting needs.' That's what we're doing here."

Hispanic women's event focuses on faith anchors
___FORT WORTH--More than 600 participants found education, inspiration and fellowship at the Celebrating the Hispanic Woman conference at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary July 13-14.
___The theme for the week was Hebrews 6:19: "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure."
