A new year, a new dorm

ALISHA CORZINE, a junior from Castle Rock, Colo., moves her belongings into the new women's dorm at Wayland Baptist University. The $1.1 million facility features a suite format with 48 rooms and is located on the north side of the campus at Ninth and Smythe Streets in Plainview. Construction on the new dormitory began last spring after campus housing reached 97 percent capacity. The dorm has not yet been named.
