SUNDAY MORNING worship at Casa, conducted entirely in Spanish, is an energized spiritual experience, but it begins rather quietly. On one recent weekend, before the service started, two women prayed together amid the many empty chairs of the worship center. There is an hour of prayer before church starts. The membership comes from 20 Central and South American countries

Small multi-ethnic church lives out big vision for missions

___DALLAS--For five days, volunteers from Westmoreland Heights Baptist Church in Dallas directed activities for elementary school-aged children from a St. Petersburg orphanage who were attending a summer camp outside the city. The Communists formerly used the camp to indoctrinate youth.

Possum Kingdom tourists hear of a nother kingdom

___PALO PINTO--Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, Rhonda Harrison and five team members ministered to more than 200 people per week in campgrounds at Possum Kingdom Lake. Harrison spent more than four hours a day four days a week in a van as she and her team worked three campgrounds at the sprawling lake in the North Texas Hill Country.
