___ Former students from the College of Marshall, East Texas Baptist College and East Texas Baptist University honored nine alumni with awards during homecoming festivities Oct. 11-12. The College of Marshall honored Mary Crowley Lea, Mildred Woods and Pat Groner at its reunion luncheon Friday. Distinguished alumni honored at Satuday's ETBU alumni and friends luncheon were Harles Cone, the Ben Dean Family, Joel Allen, Frances Shaw, Billy McDaniel and Larry Wayne Miguez.

___ First Church in Bonham, 150th, Nov. 10. Participants in the celebration will include former pastors W.C. Beasley and Darold Morgan, and former youth minister Steve Rice. The guest preacher for the morning service will be Don Sewell, a former interim pastor of the church who is director of Texas Partnerships for the Baptist General Convention of Texas. A catered luncheon will follow. An afternoon service at 1:30 will feature Jerry Christopher, director of missions for Fannin Association, and local pastors Roy Oates and Lyn Holley. ___ Rowland Gregory, Sept. 15, after 10 years of service at University Church in Abilene and 54 years in the ministry. Gregory served the Abilene church first as minister of music/education and associate pastor and was pastor for the last 18 months.
___Death
___ Glynn Ensor, 84, Sept. 24 in Dallas. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II as a ball turret gunner on a B-17 bomber. He was pastor at 12 churches in Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa and New Mexico. He returned to Texas after his retirement in 1983. He was a member of Vansickle Church in Greenville. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Loene; daughter, Gayla Holt; sons, Larry, Bob and Jay; sisters, Mattie Smith, Lucille Roseman and Juaniece Hinson; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
