___Charles Wade (in photo on left), executive director of the Baptist General Convention of Texas, holds a Russian orphan in St. Petersburg. Wade was part of a group of Texas Baptist pastors joining Ken Hall, president of Buckner Baptist Benevolences, for a tour of Buckner work in Russia this month. "The Buckner strategy enables members of local churches in Texas to become missions partners," said Jim Denison (in photo at right), pastor of Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas. "Anyone who is willing to give a week can go. You can serve children all over the world, meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. No seminary required. No training needed.
