Running the reading bases.
___ All 32 players from the Dallas Baptist University baseball team visited Daniels Elementary Academy in Grand Prairie one day this fall to emphasize the rewards of education and the importance of staying in school. Players talked with students about why reading is vital to succeeding in education and how their own ability to read helped them prepare for college. The players also read to the students.
