___ Lang named Miss Wayland. Labrina Lang, a sophomore from Lubbock, has been crowned Miss Wayland 2003. The top 10 finalists, in addition to Lang, were Ragan Spradling of Amarillo, LeAudra McKay of Lubbock, Amy Grisham of Plainview, Martha Ann Trull of Floydada, Hollie Wright of Whitharral, Ashley Applewhite of Olney, Jennifer Brigman of Eula, Miranda Turner of Tulia and Nicole Phillips of El Paso. Grisham earned the title of Miss Congeniality from her fellow contestants. Other judges' awards were presented to Kathy Reed for best talent, Phillips for best interview and Grisham for best evening wear.
___ Metroplex Mission online. All four evening services from Billy Graham's October Metroplex Mission may be viewed online through Nov. 22 at www.billygraham.org. The mission services also will be broadcast on television in December, although details have not been announced.
