Mary Hardin-Baylor students serve at Christmas.
___Christmas at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor includes both performances and service. The annual UMHB Christmas Concert at First Baptist Church of Belton featured the university's Conservatory Choir. Meanwhile, students from the art department helped children make Christmas ornaments at the annual Art Day program. Members of the student chemistry organization, Sigma Pi, wrapped gifts for children in the Belton community as a public service. Students held various fundraisers throughout the fall semester to purchase the gifts. They received names of needy children from teachers from the Belton Independent School District. This year's gifts were delivered to 50 children. Shown wrapping presents are Rona Greene, a junior math major/chemistry minor from Killeen, and Lorna Gonzalez, a pre-med student from Killeen.
