D.L. LOWRIE, longtime pastor of First Church in Lubbock, was recently recognized by LifeWay President James Draper for his years of service to the LifeWay Christian Resources board of trustees. Lowrie was honored along with his wife, Alice, while Draper's wife, Carol Ann, assisted in the ceremony at the trustees' semi-annual meeting held Feb. 11-12 in Nashville, Tenn.

___ First Church in Bellaire will present a world premeire musical this Easter season. The musical will feature Frank Seay starring as Casca, the Roman soldier who nailed Christ to the cross. The drama will be accompanied by a full chorus, orchestra, special effects and lighting.
