___ Grenz at Baylor. Baylor University's Truett Theological Seminary will present the sixth annual Willson-Addis Lecture Feb. 6, featuring theologian and author Stanley Grenz. The free lecture will be given at 9:30 a.m. in Powell Chapel at Truett Seminary. Grenz is professor of Baptist heritage, theology and ethics at Carey Theological College and professor of theology and ethics at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia. He will speak on "Christian Spirituality and the Quest for Identity: Toward a Spiritual-Theological Understanding of Life in Christ."

___ DBU names Christopher. Brent Christopher has been named vice president for advancement at Dallas Baptist University. The advancement office has been reorganized to include donor relations, fund-raising, public relations, marketing and publications. Christopher joined DBU in 1996 as general counsel and assistant professor of political science. Previously, Christopher worked as associate trial attorney for the law firm Cowles & Thompson in Dallas.
___ Baylor names distinguished alumni. The Baylor Alumni Association honored four individuals as distinguished alumni Jan. 25. Honorees were John Riola, a 1968 graduate who is chief geophysicist for Texaco USA's worldwide exploration division; Julia Saccar Graham, a 1938 graduate and retired Southern Baptist missionary to the Middle East; Frank Newport, a 1970 graduate who is editor-in-chief of the Gallup Poll; and Joann Horton Goatcher, a 1952 graduate and retired physician who previously served as medical director for the Baptist General Convention of Texas River Ministry.
