Resource room will honor Glenn Booth
___The Baptist General Convention of Texas Counseling and Psychological Services Center is establishing a family resource room to honor the memory of Glenn Booth.
___Booth, who died Oct. 22, served Texas Baptist ministers and their families more than 12 years as director of the center.
___"The Glenn G. Booth Family Resource Room is being created to provide a place for counseling, enrichment and training in support of the health and growth of ministers, their marriages and family members," said Dan McGee, director of the BGCT Counseling and Psychological Services Center.
___The center has established the Booth Memorial Fund to furnish and provide audio-visual resources for the family resource room.
___Margaret Myers, former administrative assistant in the Counseling and Psychological Services Center and current coordinator of programs for ministers' children in BGCT minister/church relations, is volunteer chairperson for the project.
___The family resource room will be dedicated at the Counseling and Psychological Services Center's 30th anniversary open house, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 13. The center is located at the Amberton Tower, Suite 115, 4144 North Central Expressway in Dallas.
