___Deaths
___ Harold Hime, 71, Feb. 6 in Texarkana. Hime was a retired teacher, coach and minister. He was staff counselor at First Church in Texarkana and pastor of Hickory Street Church in Texarkana, Ark., at the time of his death. Hime preached in churches across the state while he was an administrator at Buckner Children's Home in Dallas. After serving the children's home, Hime was appointed by the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention to serve in Alaska. He later became pastor of First Church in Archorage, Alaska. In 1987, he returned to Home Mission Board service, retiring in 1994 to Texarkana. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Jo. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia; sons, Joe and Sam; and daughters, Sarah Hime and Pamela Hime; brother, Paul; sisters, Peggy Nolan and Ruth Payne; half-brothers, Joseph and Forrest Hime; half-sisters, Sharon Miller and Bonnie Busbee; and four grandchildren.
___ Dan McBride, 63, March 13 in Jacksonville after a heart attack. McBride, a Christian musician and humorist for 37 years, presented programs in 41 states, appeared in churches of 15 denominations, performed more than 4,500 times and composed in excess of 300 songs. He was a member of Central Church in Jacksonville. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara; sons, Michael and Nathan; daughters, Debbie Bowman, Becky Casey and Susan Walden; sister, Peggy Hinton; and 12 grandchildren.

___ The Hubbard Family, a gospel singing group, will be in concert at Living Faith Church in Centerville April 5 at 7 p.m. Richard Ray is pastor.
___ First Church in Millsap will dedicate its new Worship/Education Center April 21 at 3 p.m. Warren Osburn is pastor.
___ Tarrytown Church in Austin will hold a concert and art auction titled "Colors of Faith" April 12. The evening will feature a concert by Cynthia Clawson and paintings based on her music by Austin artist Tammy Dee Nobles. The original works of art and other luxury items will be available for purchase through a silent auction. Nobles also will create a painting during the concert. Viewing will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the concert will begin at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 and may be obtained by calling (512) 478-8500.
___ The Association of the Exchanged Life Ministries will hold its international conference April 25-27 at the Hyatt Regency DFW Hotel in Grapevine. Keynote speakers will be pastors Tony Evans of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship and Al Meredith of Wedgwood Church in Fort Worth.
