Spanish Bibles sought
___The River Ministry of the Baptist General Convention of Texas has issued a request for churches or individuals to donate Spanish-language copies of the New Testament or Gospel of John for a mission outreach in Mexico.
___Pastor Israel Rodriguez Segura of Piedras Negras leads a church that has more than 120 cell groups with a weekly attendance of 1,300.
___"They are attempting to saturate their city with the gospel by distributing a New Testament or Gospel of John to every one of the 41,000 homes in the city," reported Dexton Shores, River Ministry director. "I gave them all the New Testaments and Gospel portions in our warehouse, and they have already been to more than 3,000 homes. But they have run out of Gospel portions."
___Sunday School classes, mission action groups or churches that would like to help provide Spanish New Testaments or Gospels of John are invited to send them to Del Rio/Uvalde Baptist Association, 244 Mulberry St., P.O. Drawer 1728, Uvalde 78801.
___Donors may purchase Spanish-language New Testaments from the International Bible Society for 75 cents each or Spanish-language copies of the Gospel of John for 15 cents each.
