Bears on mission ___Baylor University students carry bags of stuffed teddy bears to the office of Buckner Children & Family Services. Baylor students, faculty and staff donated nearly 500 bears for the Bear the Burden campaign sponsored by Buckner and the Baptist Standard. The bears will be used by service workers such as firefighters, rescue personnel and police officers to bring comfort to children in times of trauma. The program specificially targets aid for children who are abused and neglected. To learn more about how to participate in the campaign, visit www.beartheburden.org.
