Two Texas couples listed among NAMB appointees
___Two missionary couples with ties to Texas have been appointed by the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
___Kyle and Melanie Wall serve in Los Angeles, where he is a church starting missionary pastor. A Louisiana native, he had been associate pastor for membership since 1997 at Prestonwood Church in Plano. Previously, he had been a youth minister for churches in Florida, California, Virginia, O
klahoma and North Carolina. The Walls have two children--Emily, 11, and Olivia, 7.
___Bill and Martha Yates serve in Stockton, Calif. He is a church starter intern and pastor of START Church, a congregation geared toward multi-ethnic young adults. He has been pastor of START since 2000 and earlier served as assistant pastor of Harmony Church in Stockton and as a ministry intern in two other California churches. Mrs. Yates is a Texas native. She previously served as a summer missionary in Maryland and Ohio.
