___ Gospel saturation needs boost. Texas Baptist volunteers have distributed Gospel portions to about 29,000 homes in Piedras Negras but need more money to cover their goal of reaching 130,000 homes in four towns along the border. Volunteers have worked through Texas Baptist River Ministry to join with local Mexican Baptist churches in distributing the Scripture portions. The effort is called the Borderlands Gospel Saturation Project. They have also started the long-range project of giving gospel portions to the half-million homes in the greater Juarez area. The gospel portions are funded through a $10,000 matching grant from Christian Mission Concerns, which will match funds raised by July 31. Full funding would pay for Gospel portions that could be distributed to every house in Piedras Negras, Acuna and Morelos as well as the first 100,000 homes in Juarez. Designated gifts for the project may be directed to the Texas Baptist Missions Foundation at 333 N. Washington, Dallas 75246-1798.
