| MICHA BOYETTE, a student at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, plays with an HIV-positive orphan in Nairobi. Boyett was among a group of HSU students that spent 17 days in Kenya and South Africa this summer under the leadership of Rob Sellers, professor of missions at HSU's Logsdon School of Theology. Students were eligible to earn three or six hours of academic credit. Primary teacher for one of the courses was HSU alumnus Douglas Waruta, a native of Kenya and senior lecturer in the department of religion at the University of Nairobi. |
